Pocket Market was an original concept I came up with while pondering an interface that linked all of your local farmers markets to a user-friendly application. I wanted to provide a functional portal for vendors to advertise their products, registration and management tools for the directors and organizers of farmers markets, and navigation and online access to product availability for potential customers. With my forté primarily lying within design itself, my focus was mainly on the appearance of this project. My colors of choice were meant to convey the lush freshness of produce while the minimal shapes and form of the icons, buttons, text boxes, etc. were designed to be simple enough to read but intriguing enough to be engaging.
