The positioning for this brand identity and packaging project mainly focused on updating the more traditional chocolate design into a more contemporary aesthetic. There was much in the complexities of the flourishes, ribbons, typography, and patterns of past chocolate brands that I meant to preserve while also maintaining that air of simplicity and functionality found in more modern designs. While each asset is slightly intricate, they are given enough space to breathe so as not to crowd the design and take away from its overall legibility.
